Photo Collage

Photo Collage

Create humorous art projects by adding a twist to ordinary photos. Anyone can be successful from kindergarten to college. The humor can be very subtle or blatant. Much of the art is dependent on what images are found in magazine searches. We will be using mainly photos from my collection to save time. Over twenty-five collage techniques will be explored. You will not be able to look through magazines without seeing many new art possibilities. Students with or without drawing skills can be very successful. It is easy, fun and cheap to do. Teachers will have many finished examples and fun ideas to take back to the classroom. Bring your funny!

5E Lesson Planning for All Subjects

5E Lesson Planning for All Subjects

The 5E format is regaining its force and easily supports Common Core and even the new science standards (NGSS). Engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate are the core actions that bring all students into and through your lessons and units. Plus, using 5E can save you lots of planning time.
We'll model some 5E lessons, and then you'll have time to create your own useful and easy lesson plans from RAFT kits and idea sheets. You may want to bring your own computer, but it's not necessary.
