How to Donate

Thank you for donating your new or like-new items that educators can use in their classrooms.

Due to our space constraints at times we may not be able to take certain items even though they appear on our list. Please email us or call ahead if you have any questions regarding your donation. RAFT reserves the right to refuse donations even if they have been approved unseen via the phone or email. If we can’t take your donation we will do our best to refer to you to a source that can.

Corporate Donations:

RAFT offers FREE pick up of donated materials for Bay Area corporations when your donation is one pallet-load (approximately 20-40 boxes) of materials or more. Submit a Donation Pickup Request online or contact us at

All donations to RAFT are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Here is a list of alternate donations sites near our San Jose facility.

We are not able to accept individual donations at this time with the exception of donations of like new children's books and/or craft supplies. These donations can only be accommodated if approved in advance. Email with information about your proposed donation and we will get back to you. Please note that this is an individual, not corporate, donation in your email and include a short description/photos of the items, noting quantity. Thank you.
