Book collection has ended and donations are no longer being accepted for the Gift of Reading 2012.

The teachers and the students at Vinci Park Elementary LOVED the books I got from Gift of Reading this year! The books are used to create classroom libraries which give the kids easy access to a variety of reading materials. It really does make a difference for the little ones, many of which don’t have many books at home.

Many thanks for your most generous gift of 100 chapter and picture books to Dove Hill School. As a result of RAFT’s gift, Dove Hill School will be able to continue to give books to promote literacy and our language arts programs at Dove Hill School to our most needy students.

Suggested Books:
We are especially in need of pre-school and elementary level books. Books in Spanish or Vietnamese are also valuable. Since they will be sorted by age group, please do not wrap them.
